Graphic designer, Andrea Nordstrom, grew up in the small town of Ottawa, Illinois. Her childhood entertainment consisted of exploring in her backyard where she and her siblings would do things like pull each other on a sled behind a 4-wheeler in the middle of summer. She’s got the scars to prove it.

After earning a B.A. from Wheaton College, she worked for three years at a boutique design firm that specialized in print campaigns and digital strategy. She eventually packed her bags for the grand ol’ city of Savannah, Georgia, where she earned an M.F.A. in Graphic Design from the Savannah College of Art and Design. She enjoyed life below the Mason-Dixon line so much, that she wasn’t quite ready to leave the South, and she made her way to Charlotte.

When she’s not creating digital masterpieces at Studiobanks, she enjoys reading, running, and creating culinary masterpieces in her kitchen. She says it’s a good way for her to be creative without having her eyes glued to a screen. Plus, you get to eat what you create. Doesn’t get much better than that.
