It's kind of surprising that with every new version of Flash released a set of pixel based drawing tools hasn't been added to Flash's toolbox. It's a logical addition. Pixels are the unit of measure for the web; why not make a set of tools that conform to this standard? In the meantime, I have been using Pixel Tools v2, which is an extension created by 5 and 1/2 that adds a basic set of pixel based drawing tools to Flash.
This extension works really well, but at the same time, it would just be nice to not have to use a third party extension to do something that should already be included in the application.
