One of NASCAR’s premier operations, Hendrick Motorsports is more than just your average “go fast, turn left” racing team. Over the years, Hendrick Motorsports has garnered a NASCAR record 13 owner’s championships and 14 overall. Its roster of stock-car drivers includes superstars Mark Martin, Jeff Gordon, Jimmie Johnson and Dale Earnhardt, Jr.
With an array of audiences ranging from owners and fans to members of the media and sponsors, Hendrick Motorsports needed a website with a little more octane and a lot more flexibility. Studiobanks partnered with Luquire George Andrews (LGA), a brand and advertising agency, to establish an online brand strategy that delivers brand consistency and helps streamline communication for the organization.
Studiobanks developed a new, dynamic website that offers a highly-functional, online experience that enables fans to explore the unique personalities of Hendrick Motorsports’ drivers and showcases the organization’s considerable history, unique company culture, and extensive library of photos and videos. The site gives fans the opportunity to personalize the main content by selecting a driver theme, which will change the featured driver, content and main color scheme. Each driver has his own personally branded section with a well-organized library of photos, videos and unique news articles. When it comes to capturing the Hendrick Motorsports experience it’s not quite the same as screaming for your driver from the stands, but it’s a close second.
