Muzak has been at the forefront of the sensory branding industry for more than 75 years, delivering powerful audio and visual experiences that define the unique expressions of brands. To complete a groundbreaking “Expressions” exhibit at GlobalShop, the world’s largest annual retail design expo, Muzak approached Studiobanks to enhance the exhibit concept and maximize interactivity with attendees through a custom microsite experience.
The exhibit, which received DDI Magazine’s award for Best Booth in Visual Merchandising, set out to showcase Muzak’s ability to transform the customer experience into a human experience influenced by brand expressions in the retail environment. By incorporating a live photo booth and custom music programs that evoke certain emotions, Muzak captured headshots of attendees sharing their best facial expressions of those emotions. Seconds later, Muzak posted the photographs to our microsite’s web-based content management system, which powered a virtual image gallery across 14 plasma screens to create buzz. Attendees were thrilled to see themselves integrated into Muzak’s exhibit concept in real time, which encouraged interaction via our microsite experience long after the event was over.
